How does the TapTunely Music Memory Box work?

Each mini disc can be matched with 1 song.

Place a disc on the music box and the corresponding audio will automatically begin playing. Remove the disc and the music will stop.

Can I choose my own songs?

Yes.

You can connect the music box to your laptop or desktop computer with the included USB-C cable and import your own MP3 songs.

Each disc matches one folder, so you can decide which song plays with each disc.

Can I change the songs later?

Yes.

You can update the songs anytime:

  1. Reconnect the music box to your computer
  2. Open the matching folder
  3. Delete the old MP3 file
  4. Drag in a new MP3 file
  5. Safely eject the device and play your new song

Which audio formats are supported?

We recommend using MP3 format.

Other formats such as WAV, FLAC, or M4A may not be recognized, so please convert your audio file to MP3 before importing.

Do I need Spotify, an app, or a subscription?

No.

TapTunely does not require Spotify, a mobile app, or any streaming subscription.

Once your MP3 files are imported, the music box can play them directly.

How do I import music?

You can import music by following these steps:

  1. Connect the music box to your laptop or desktop computer using the included USB-C cable
  2. A folder will appear on your computer
  3. Open the folder and choose one of the numbered folders from 1 to 9
  4. Drag your MP3 file into the matching folder
  5. Safely eject the device
  6. Place the disc on the music box to play

How do I know which folder matches which disc?

Each disc has a number or symbol on the back.

Match the number or symbol on the back of the disc with the corresponding folder on your computer, then place your MP3 file into that folder.

What if a disc does not play?

Please check the following:

  1. Make sure the music box is powered on
  2. Make sure the music box has enough battery
  3. Remove the transparent protective film from the disc before use
  4. Place the disc properly on the music box
  5. Make sure an MP3 file has been added to the matching folder

If it still does not play, try repositioning the disc.

Can I upload songs using my phone?

We recommend using a laptop or desktop computer for setup, as it is the easiest and most stable method.

The music box is designed to transfer MP3 files through a USB-C connection, so using a computer is more reliable.

Steps to adjust the volume: Long press the power button to turn on the music box, put the magnetic disc into the music box, then tap the power button once to adjust the volume. You can tap it multiple times to set the volume to your satisfaction. If you have any other questions, we will answer them enthusiastically.

It was amazing it's stray kids and it crazy good quality I love it thank y'all so much but it's very loud in a good way but is there a way to turn it down if not that's fine it's crazy how good it is

I was kind of suspicious too but it turned out really cool and loud! It’s a house warming present for a friend so I haven’t put it up so not sure about the magnet but I tested the disks and it’s super cool. Even if you take it off it’ll continue to play.
